Indie Visual Novel Twofold Gets Free Switch 2 Edition Upgrade With 1440p Assets

refint/games has released a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the Studio Élan-developed indie visual novel Twofold. Owners of the existing Nintendo Switch version can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for free.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features upgraded 1440p assets, higher-resolution display support, and frame rates of up to 120 FPS in handheld and TV modes.

The release comes with an update. PlayStation 5 now supports up to 120 FPS, while a bug that could cause garbled save thumbnails in some instances has also been fixed.

A separate free update is available for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 versions of Twofold: First Snow. Unlike the main game, First Snow does not have a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Running the Nintendo Switch version on Nintendo Switch 2 enables higher resolutions and frame rates of up to 120 FPS.

The PlayStation 5 version of Twofold: First Snow has also received 120 FPS support, alongside the same save-thumbnail bug fix.
