Large-scale multiplayer FPS Wardogs will let players host 100-person servers

A couple of weeks ago we first reported on Wardogs, a large-scale multiplayer military FPS from developer Bulkhead that’s releasing to early access on Thursday, September 10th, which probably wouldn’t have made many waves were it not for the fact that it actually gave gamers reasons not to buy it so early. Now there’s a possible reason for folks to jump in ahead of time, at least if they have a specific game community or friend group that they’re a part of, as Bulkhead has announced that players will be able to spool up their own 100-person servers when early access begins.

This feature comes by way of a partnership between Bulkhead and BisectHosting, which the studio claims has the years of technical know-how and infrastructure to allow fans of the FPS to make their own shootyman servers. This provider is likely well-known to fans of various survivalboxes, as it has also provided server hosting for the likes of MinecraftPalworld, and Valheim.

The shooter has recently wrapped up yet another closed beta this past weekend and has been trying to drive up further hype by holding a clip sharing contest, and now it’s hoping that shooter fans who like to keep things insular will want to dive in with the reveal of this private server functionality.
